Take Time

Make sure you have five or ten minutes set aside to really shave. This allows it to function not just as a part of your daily grooming but as a peaceful meditative ritual. It’s just you and the mirror, getting ready to face the day. A chance to calmly, smoothly exercise a practised skill that will leave you feeling like a real man, professional and expert.
Equipment
To make a real success, you’ll need the right equipment. At the very least make sure you have a supply of fresh cartridges for your razor – when they get blunt they snag, they pull, and they cut your skin instead of gliding smoothly over it.
